We are excited to announce that the 10 am Silver Sneaker “Strength and Balance” class will resume at the Wilkins Township Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning May 4th.
The classes provide safe, low-impact movements designed to increase strength, balance, and improve overall mobility. Created for seniors at different fitness levels, modifications and advanced moves are both demonstrated. A chair is provided as a tool, as well as handheld weights, exercise tubing, and handheld balls.
Most Medicare Advantage plans include Silver Sneakers, but if your plan does not, the walk-in fee is only $3 per class. Monthly pre-paid passes reduce the cost even more.
Attendees should bring water and wear comfortable clothing and supportive sneakers.
