Description
BCWSA Utility Services is transitioning to a new customer billing system to enhance electronic payment options and improve overall customer service. The new system will go live on May 12, 2026. As part of this transition, customers will receive a newly formatted bill during their next billing cycle that will include a new account number and customer number, which must be used for all future payments. The new account number is similar to the one used before, but it will no longer include the hyphen with the set of numbers at the end.

Key points to be aware of include:

No online payments will be processed between May 1 and May 11 as they transition to the new system.

Customers who pay online or through their personal bank’s bill pay service will need to create a new online account or update their bank’s payee information using the new account number shown on their bill.

Pay-by-phone and check payment options remain unchanged.

Customers will be able to make one-time online payments or enroll in autopay through the BCWSA website.

BCWSA has mailed an official notice to all customers outlining these changes and providing step-by-step guidance.
