Storm Damage and Heavy Rain

Description
With last night’s heavy rain and high winds, we will most likely experience some sewer issues today. It may take most of the day — and possibly overnight — to remove the rainwater from our sewer lift station wells and pump it to the lagoon.
The good news is that once we receive approval to begin repair work on our sewer system, situations like this will soon be a thing of the past.
City crews will also be out today cleaning up storm debris. If you have limbs or branches down on your property, please place them by the street so we can pick them up.
