...RED FLAG WARNING TODAY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT FOR THE NORTHEAST
AND CENTRAL HIGHLANDS AND EAST CENTRAL PLAINS DUE TO STRONG WINDS
AND LOW HUMIDITY...
.Gusty west winds across the northeast highlands and east central
NM will result in another round of critical fire weather

humidities plummet below 10% for several hours. Decided to cancel
the Red Flag Warning for the northeast plains. Higher low level
moisture will mix out this afternoon thanks to southwest winds.

majority of the zone. Near critical to locally critical fire
weather conditions will exist in eastern San Miguel County, the
southwest portion of the zone.
* AREA AND TIMING...East Central Plains (Zone 126), and Northeast
and Central Highlands (Zones 123 and 125) today from 11 AM to 8
PM MDT.

up to 40 mph. Wind gusts will locally reach 45 mph near Clines
Corners.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 9 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
