...RED FLAG WARNING TUESDAY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM MDT EAST OF THE
CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN DUE TO STRONG WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY...
.Critical fire weather conditions will develop again Tuesday
afternoon in eastern New Mexico. Wind gusts will peak between 35
and 45 mph as humidities plummet into the single digits. Humidity
will drop into the single digits for 4 to 10 hours across eastern
New Mexico on Tuesday.
* AREA AND TIMING...Northeast and East Central Plains (Zones 104
and 126), and Northeast and Central Highlands (Zones 123 and
125) Tuesday from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...West-southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts
up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 9 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
