Description
Property owners and occupants are required to maintain grass, weeds, and non ornamental vegetation at 6 inches or less. Overgrown vegetation is a declared nuisance and will be enforced.
Compliance Requirements:
-Owners and/or occupants are responsible
-5 days to comply once notice is issued
-Only one warning notice per growing season and then fines begin
Failure to comply may result in:
-Daily fines up to $1,000
-Borough remediation billed plus 10%
-Additional legal action as authorized by law
These regulations are enforced to protect public health, safety, and property conditions. Compliance is expected. Grass and Weed Ordinance (§ 10 201 through § 10 204)
