Fire Weather Watch issued April 21 at 12:38PM CDT until April 23 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX
The National Weather Service in Lubbock has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Thursday afternoon through
Thursday evening.
* Timing...Noon to 8 PM CDT Thursday.
* Wind...West at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
* Humidity...As low as 6 percent.
* Fuels...Dry.
* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.
