Description
The Coraopolis Borough Police Department has officially begun the transition to Allegheny County 911 for police dispatch services.
As part of this process, we are asking all residents to begin calling 911 for police assistance, so everyone can become familiar with the system ahead of the full transition.
For non-emergency issues, residents may continue to call 412-264-3000 for the time being. However, please be advised that as of June 1, 2026, this number will no longer be operational for police emergencies.
We anticipate being fully transitioned to Allegheny County 911 by June 1, 2026.
Updates will be provided throughout the transition process to keep the community informed.
This change will enhance communication, improve coordination with neighboring agencies and provide access to modern emergency dispatch technology.
If you have any questions, please contact the Police Department.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
