Freeze Watch issued April 18 at 12:33PM EDT until April 20 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...For the first Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as
low as 26 possible. For the second Freeze Watch, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 22 possible.
* WHERE...Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, McKean, Northern Centre,
Northern Clinton, and Warren Counties.
* WHEN...For the first Freeze Watch, from late Sunday night through
Monday morning. For the second Freeze Watch, from late Monday
night through Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive
vegetation.
Take protective measures now as freezing temperatures could damage
or kill tender plants and vegetation.
