Flood Watch issued April 17 at 1:04PM CDT until April 18 at 4:00AM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central
Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois,
Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon, Marshall, Mason, McLean, Menard,
Peoria, Piatt, Sangamon, Shelby, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford. In
east central Illinois, Champaign, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie
and Vermilion. In west central Illinois, Cass, Fulton, Knox,
Morgan, Schuyler and Scott.

* WHEN...From 6 PM CDT this evening through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Strong thunderstorms are likely this evening into tonight,
and there is potential for locally heavy rainfall of 2 to 4
inches.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
