Description
Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On April 14, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, City of Kenedy, PWS ID 1280002 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform customers on the intersection of 72 South/East of CR 329, 136/158/186/358/370/380 off of CR 329 (only part of CR329, addressee’s stated), and customers on the south side of 72 East, that due to the possible presence of contaminants or an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.

Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of April 15, 2026.
