Description
The Inglis Town Commission has approved ordinance 01-26 updating water reconnection fees for residential and commercial customers.
What’s Changing?
1. Reinstallation of a Water Meter
If a water meter was installed and later removed by the Town for any reason, the cost to reinstall it and restore service is $100.00 meter reinstallation fee, plus any other applicable fees for starting a new water account.
This applies only when a meter was previously removed.
2. Water Reconnection After Shut-Off
If water service has been turned off by the Town for any reason, the fee to reconnect service is $50.00 reconnection fee.
When Does This Take Effect?
The ordinance was adopted on April 14, 2026, and the updated fees apply from that date forward.
