Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 14 at 4:55PM EDT until April 14 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 455 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Franklin Park,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Monroeville, Moon Township, Franklin Park, Shaler Township, Plum,
Hampton Township, Wilkinsburg, Harrison Township and O'hara
Township.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
