Water Boil Advisory Update

Description
All customers should continue to boil water used for:
• Drinking
• Cooking
• Brushing teeth
• Making ice
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute, then allow it to cool before use.
Earlier today (4/11/2026) the Authority received the first round of test results in which all three water samples passed. The second round of samples has now been sent to the lab. We will receive those results tomorrow. If those samples pass as well we will be able to lift the advisory. Stay tuned for more updates via this Facebook Page, the Savvy Citizen App for Vernon Township and customers will be notified via the auto dialer system when the advisory is lifted.
