Description
Overlay of Chip Seal will commence on Thursday, April 9, 2026 for CR19 between CRC and CRD.
American Road Maintenance has begun chip seal resurfacing project in Curry County, with completion anticipated in the coming weeks, weather permitting. This project is part of Curry County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local roadways.
What Drivers Can Expect:
• Traffic Delays: Lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in effect in active work zones. Please allow extra travel time and use alternate routes when possible.
• Loose Gravel: Drivers should reduce speed and use caution until sweeping and final surface treatments are complete.
• Traffic Control: Flaggers, pilot vehicles, and signage will be in place to safely guide motorists through construction areas.
• Work Hours: Crews will typically be on-site between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily. Scheduling may adjust due to weather or operational needs.
