Hello Community Elizabeth Township Lifesavers!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm in the Elizabeth Township Municipal Building Chambers Room. The blood drive is open from 12:30 to 4:30pm.
If you donated whole blood on or before February 11, 2026, or if you donated double reds on or before December 17, 2025, you are eligible 4-8-26
Our last blood drives were 2-9-26 and 12-12-25

This April, during Donate Life Month, Vitalant reminds blood donors that they are vitally important to giving organ transplant patients, a second chance at life.
In 2025, there were more than 49,000 organ transplants in the U.S., a record for a fifth straight year.
Many transplant patients need a blood transfusion during complex, multi-hour procedures, often requiring several units of blood.
In more extreme cases, a transplant recipient may need the help of 50 blood donors.
One woman, Jen, has depended on blood donors for years, while waiting for a new heart as a teenager and repeatedly in the decades since to help fight anemia.
Donors of all blood types are needed constantly to maintain an adequate supply for all patient blood needs. Type O donors are critically needed.
Type O is the most relied upon blood type. O-positive is the most frequently occurring in the population and O-negative can help any patient regardless of their blood type.
Vitalant donors who give blood in April will be entered to win big! Donors who give April 6-30 will automatically be entered to win one of two prepaid gift cards in the $10,000 Groceries for a Year Giveaway!
April is also National Volunteer Month. Donating blood is just one way to make a meaningful volunteer impact at Vitalant.
The questions need to be answered the day of the drive.
You can save 10 to 15 minutes if answer your medical questions before you come to donate with the link below or you can always answer them with us at the drive.
If you answer the questions on your phone when you are finished Click Download on PDF and screen shot the QR code (please don’t email it to yourself).
If you answer them on your computer Click Download on PDF and print the QR code then bring it with you to the drive.
