Description
Curry Road 9 project will begin on Tuesday, April 7th. This project will take the day to complete. We will have to close this roadway while we are working.
American Road Maintenance will begin a chip seal resurfacing project in Curry County starting the week of April 6th, 2026, with completion anticipated in the coming weeks, weather permitting. This project is part of Curry County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local roadways.
What Drivers Can Expect:
• Traffic Delays: Lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in effect in active work zones. Please allow extra travel time and use alternate routes when possible.
• Loose Gravel: Drivers should reduce speed and use caution until sweeping and final surface treatments are complete.
• Traffic Control: Flaggers, pilot vehicles, and signage will be in place to safely guide motorists through construction areas.
• Work Hours: Crews will typically be on-site between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily. Scheduling may adjust due to weather or operational needs.
