In accordance with Chapter 418.043 of the Texas Government Code, this message is just a TEST to help confirm system functionality and build confidence in activating and operating technology to prepare the community to receive emergency messages.
Such messages may prompt community members to consider making a plan for disasters and identify areas for improvement before an actual emergency occurs.
