Description
We are still accepting applications for an enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individual to help lead our Summer Day Camp for Kids during the week of June 22–26, 2026. This is a temporary paid position.
This role is instrumental in the daily operation of our resident day camp and is perfect for someone who loves working with children and creating a fun, positive environment.
Camp Schedule: June 22–26, 2026; Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Position Overview:
The Summer Day Camp Coordinator will be responsible for setting up camp each day and overseeing all daily activities. Camp schedules, activities, projects, and events will be planned in advance, allowing the coordinator to focus on execution, engagement, and smooth daily operations. Additional training hours will be required in the weeks leading up to camp.
Key Responsibilities:
-Set up and prepare camp activities each day
-Oversee daily camp schedule and activities
-Supervise and engage with campers throughout the day
-Foster a fun, safe, and welcoming environment
-Problem-solve and adapt as needed during camp activities
-Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
-Friendly, warm, and caring toward both children and adults
-Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
-Ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm
-Comfortable leading groups of children
-Responsible, dependable, and organized
Preferred Experience:
-Experience working with children (camp, school, childcare, youth programs, etc.)
-Leadership or coordination experience is a plus
