Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 31 at 11:57PM EDT until April 1 at 12:30AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 1157 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
over Oakmont to over Gastonville, or along a line from near Penn
Hills to over Gastonville, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
Monroeville, McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Jeannette,
Canonsburg, Gastonville, Shaler Township, Plum, West Mifflin, North
Side Pittsburgh, Baldwin, Upper St. Clair and Murrysville.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.
