🚤 Boats, RVs & Trailers — Know the Rules Before You Park, Crafton!
As the weather warms up, many of us are dusting off our recreational vehicles, boats, and trailers for the season — and we want to make sure everyone is set up correctly from the start!
Under Crafton Borough Code 214-91, a recreational vehicle includes travel trailers, mobile homes, motor homes, tent trailers, boats and boat trailers, horse trailers, and self-propelled campers.
📋 Here's what you need to know about parking and storage:
🚫 Overnight street parking is not permitted — RVs and trailers may not be stored on the street
🚫 Parking in the front of your property is prohibited, regardless of surface — this includes driveways and parking pads
✅ Recreational vehicles may be temporarily stored in a side or rear yard for up to 72 hours
🚫 RVs may not be used as housing while parked or stored on your property
