🦁 March came in like a lion — and left quite a mess behind!
After all those windy, stormy days, we're seeing a significant buildup of trash and bulk waste on properties throughout Crafton. We'd like to remind all residents that under Crafton Borough Code 188-3A, accumulation of garbage, rubbish, bulky waste, or other solid waste is not permitted on your property.
Code 188-4A further requires that trash be stored in a way that prevents attracting insects or rodents and eliminates conditions that are harmful to public health, create safety hazards, odors, unsightliness, or public nuisances.
Please take some time to clean up scattered trash and properly dispose of any bulk waste in your area. Please note: covering items that need to be removed does not meet code requirements.

Valley Waste offers pickup for electronics and other toxic items — just schedule it in advance, as these cannot go in regular trash. They have many options available! Visit their website for the full list of services and how to schedule:

📄 A free shredding event sponsored by State Representative Dan Deasy and Senator Wayne Fontana
🗑️ Two dumpsters on-site for residents to dispose of those harder-to-get-rid-of items
