🚧 Get Ready for Street Sweeping! 🚧
The Borough street sweeper will be out in full force this week, covering all streets in town. While we can’t provide exact days or times for your specific street, rest assured—every roadway will receive at least one full pass.
How you can help (and get the best results):
Residents—especially those on streets that were seal coated last year—are encouraged to sweep loose debris (like dust and small asphalt chips from winter plowing) out to the roadway for pickup.
Important guidelines:
✔️ Sweep only small debris (dust, pebbles, loose asphalt) into the street
❌ Do NOT place sticks, branches, or large debris in the roadway
✔️ Spread material in a long, narrow strip about 1 foot from the curb
(Avoid large piles—this helps the sweeper pick everything up more effectively)
Missed us this time? No problem. The sweeper will be back out again in a few weeks. Our goal is to run sweeping operations monthly throughout the summer season to keep our streets looking their best.
