Description
Please note the following update schedule information for the I-376 (Parkway East) Project in Edgewood, Swissvale, Braddock Hills and Churchill boroughs, Allegheny County. As always, all work is weather dependent and any changes or updates to the schedule will be distributed accordingly.
Beginning: Monday night, March 30th through Tuesday morning, March 31st – There will be single lane restrictions between the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange and the Monroeville (Exit 80) exit from 9:00 PM Monday to 5:00 AM Tuesday (see attached press release).
Crews will conduct line eradication, pavement markings, and temporary barrier installation to facilitate the new long-term configuration of two 11-foot lanes.
The current single lane closures will continue as needed on I-376 in each direction weeknights from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through late May.
Additionally, starting Monday night, March 30th at 9:00 PM, the following I-376 ramps will be shifted and reduced to 11-foot lanes around-the-clock through late June for bridge and roadway reconstruction work:
· Westbound I-376 on-ramp from Edgewood/Swissvale (after the two ramps from South Braddock Avenue and West Swissvale Avenue converge)
· Eastbound I-376 off-ramp to Edgewood (Exit 77) toward South Braddock Avenue
