Red Flag Warning issued March 27 at 9:22AM CDT until March 27 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX
* Wind...Northeast at 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph.
* Humidity...As low as 24 percent in the far southeastern Texas
Panhandle. Elsewhere, values range around 30 to 45 percent.
* Fuels...Critically to extremely dry.
* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
