High Wind Warning issued March 27 at 5:42AM MDT until March 27 at 3:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
* WHAT...Northeast winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Curry County, Quay County, Roosevelt County, and Union
County.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down weakened trees and
vulnerable power lines. A few power outages are possible. Travel
will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, including
Interstate 40.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust at times, particularly
in the far eastern plains near the Texas border.
Secure loose items such as garbage cans and lawn furniture.
