Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 26 at 5:12PM CDT until March 26 at 5:30PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL
At 510 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Westville,
moving east at 70 mph. Another storm was located near Chesterton,
also moving east at 70 mph.
HAZARD...Quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 451 PM, quarter size hail was
reported near Highland, IN.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
Locations impacted include...
Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Porter, Burns Harbor, Town of Pines,
Beverly Shores, and Dune Acres.
