Red Flag Warning issued March 21 at 8:42PM CDT until March 22 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

* Wind...West at 15 to 20 mph during the morning. Winds will
then become northeast at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
behind a cold front during the afternoon. The wind shift will
first affect the southern Texas Panhandle around midday, then
affect the South Plains and Rolling Plains later in the
afternoon.

* Humidity...As low as 5 percent.

* Fuels...Extremely dry.

* Impacts...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is discouraged.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
