Description
The Borough of Avalon announces there is currently one (1) vacancy on the Borough Council in Ward 1. The Borough of Avalon Council is accepting letters of interest from qualified Avalon residents residing in Ward 1 to serve out the remainder of a term that ends December 2027. Interested persons should fill out the vacancy application (available at the Borough Building and on the Borough of Avalon’s website, boroughofavalon.org). Applications must be submitted along with a letter of interest and current resume to the Borough Manager via email (lmakatura@boroughofavalon.org), mail, or personal delivery to the Avalon Borough Building, 640 California Avenue, Avalon, PA 15202 on or before 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
