Description
Red Lion Borough is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Operator 1. This role involves manual and semi‑skilled work, equipment operation, and participation in maintenance and construction projects throughout the Borough.
Responsibilities
Operate and perform basic repairs on equipment such as backhoes, skid loaders, dump trucks, and related machinery.
Carry out repair and maintenance tasks for Borough buildings and grounds.
Complete maintenance and repair work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experienced equipment operator.
Prior experience in maintenance or related fields, with familiarity using hand tools and equipment.
Valid Pennsylvania Class B Commercial Driver’s License is preferred but not required at the time of hiring.
Ability to handle physically demanding work.
