Special Weather Statement issued March 16 at 1:54PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
At 153 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Cross City to 37 miles
south of Horseshoe Point. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Williston Highlands, Arbor Lakes, Lecanto, Homosassa Springs, East
Bronson, Otter Creek, Citronelle, Leisure Acres, Inglis, Crystal
River Airport, Manattee Road, Pine Ridge, Bronson, Citrus Hills,
Fowlers Bluff, Black Diamond, Brent Wood, Fanning Springs, Homosassa,
and Chassahowitzka.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for northern and
west central Florida.
