High Wind Warning issued March 15 at 9:06PM EDT until March 16 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected
through tonight, shifting southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
50 mph on Monday.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will ramp up today with gusts to 50 mph
during the daytime hours. Winds will peak tonight when gusts to 60
mph are likely. Winds shift southwest and continue gusting over 40
MPH on Monday.
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
