High Wind Warning issued March 15 at 9:23AM MDT until March 15 at 4:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
* WHAT...Northwest to north winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts around 70
mph possible.
* WHERE...Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Estancia
Valley, South Central Highlands, Union County, Harding County,
Eastern San Miguel County, Quay County, Curry County, Roosevelt
County, and De Baca County.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM MDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust may reduce visibility
below one-half mile at times.
