Description
🚨 Traffic Signal Notice – Route 8 & Route 58 Intersection
We are aware of an issue with the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 58. The light is currently operating in a flashing mode, with Route 58 (Mercer Street) flashing red and Route 8 (Main Street) flashing yellow.
Calls have been made to the appropriate agencies to address the issue and restore the signal to normal operation. While this is not the typical function of the traffic light, this flashing configuration is an approved traffic control method for an intersection.
Please use caution when approaching the intersection and follow the flashing signals accordingly.
