High Wind Warning issued March 12 at 1:59PM EDT until March 14 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY
* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.
* WHERE...The Niagara Frontier.
* WHEN...From noon Friday to 5 AM EDT Saturday. The strongest winds
are expected late Friday afternoon through Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
Avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees. If possible,
remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
