Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 11 at 6:31PM EDT until March 11 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 630 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Orrtanna to Emmitsburg, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Gettysburg, Hampton, Littlestown, McSherrystown,
Bonneauville, New Oxford, East Berlin, Lake Heritage, Cashtown,
Orrtanna, and Biglerville.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for south central
Pennsylvania.
