Description
There have been some recent questions about solicitors/peddlers going door to door in the township.
Solicitors and peddlers are permitted to go door-to-door in Warrington Township; however, they must register with the Township Office before conducting any solicitation.
Applicants must present a valid driver’s license and valid vehicle registration when applying for a Solicitor/Peddler license at the township office. The license is valid for 30 days and requires a $25 fee. Solicitors and peddlers should present this license to residents when knocking on their doors.
Residents are encouraged to remain cautious when an unknown person knocks on their door. Solicitors and peddlers are only permitted to go door-to-door from 8:00AM until 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Solicitation on Sundays is not permitted.
