Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued March 7 at 2:40PM EST until March 7 at 3:15PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 240 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northwest of
Beaver Falls, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
New Castle, Beaver Falls, Ellwood City, Meridian, Big Beaver, New
Beaver, West Mayfield, Ellport, Prospect, Harmony, Plain Grove
Township, Koppel, Wampum, South New Castle and New Galilee.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EST Saturday for
portions of west central and western Pennsylvania.
