PennDOT Update – I-376 Parkway East Overnight Lane Restrictions Begin Monday, March 9
Weather permitting, overnight single-lane restrictions will occur on I-376 in both directions between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange, weeknights from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through mid-April.
Please note – eastbound work will not begin until two hours after the end of a Penguins or Pirates game in Pittsburgh.
This work is part of the Commercial Street Bridge replacement project. A 25-day full closure and detour of I-376 is tentatively expected July 10 through August 3, 2026. The overall project is anticipated to finish in summer 2027.
