🌸 Spring is (almost) here, Crafton! 🌸
Fingers crossed the worst of winter is behind us — and to celebrate, it's time to freshen up our borough! ✨
We have a Clean-Up Day coming up, and we're asking ALL residents to join in the effort — not just on Clean-Up Day, but at your own home too. Here are some helpful reminders to keep Crafton looking its best:
🗑️ Trash Storage
Store trash cans on the side or rear of your property. If stored on the side, they must be screened from front view. Easiest fix? Keep them out back!
All trash must be in proper trash cans — not bags alone. Bags attract animals and create health hazards.
Trash can be set out for pick-up no earlier than 4PM the day before your pick-up day.
🧹 Yard Clean-Up
Clear out any accumulated garbage, rubbish, bulky waste, or leftover building materials from your yard.
Remove all animal waste from your property — it's a health hazard and a rodent attractant.
Store bulk waste (furniture, appliances, branches, etc.) in a way that prevents water buildup, rodents, and fire hazards.
Check out Valley Waste collection options — you may be able to get rid of more than you think this spring!
🚛 Getting a Dumpster?
Make sure to apply for a permit online first before placing one in front of your home.
