Special Weather Statement issued March 1 at 11:05PM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
Satellite imagery and surface observations indicate an area of fog
developing and spreading southwestward across inland Volusia and
Lake counties. Visibility of one mile or less is possible in these
areas, including Deland, Astor, Eustis, and Leesburg. A Dense Fog
Advisory may be needed if these conditions persist or worsen over
the next several hours.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility. When
encountering fog, slow down, increase following distance, and use
low-beam headlights.
