Freeze Warning issued February 23 at 11:53PM EST until February 24 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
* WHAT...For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
29 expected. For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 28 expected.
* WHERE...Inland Lee, Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, and Coastal
Levy Counties.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
