...FLOOD WATCH CANCELLED FOR KAUAI COUNTY AND OAHU...
...FLOOD WATCH CONTINUED FOR MAUI COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Maui, Molokai, Lanai, and Kahoolawe.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An upper level disturbance will create unstable conditions
across the eastern part of the state. A low level trough
moving east will combine forces with increasing northeasterly
trade winds over island mountain ranges, producing periods of
moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms over Maui County
through this afternoon.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
