Cold Weather Advisory issued February 22 at 11:58PM EST until February 23 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL
* WHAT...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills
as low as 26 expected. For the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing
temperatures as low as 26 expected. For the second Cold Weather
Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected.
* WHERE...Coastal Citrus, Coastal Hernando, Coastal Levy, Inland
Citrus, Inland Hernando, Inland Levy, and Sumter Counties.
* WHEN...For the first Cold Weather Advisory, from 3 AM to 10 AM EST
Monday. For the Freeze Warning and second Cold Weather Advisory,
from 3 AM to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
