Due to the Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service and significant winter weather expected to impact our area, the Town of Federalsburg has declared a Snow Emergency.

🕒 Snow Emergency Period:
4:00 PM Sunday, February 22 through 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 24

During this time, parking is prohibited on designated Snow Emergency Routes.

Forecasts call for heavy snow, strong winds, and blowing/drifting conditions that may make travel dangerous. Keeping priority routes clear is critical for emergency vehicles and snow removal operations.

🚫 NO PARKING ON THESE ROUTES:
• South Main Street
• North Main Street
• Bloomingdale Avenue
• Academy Avenue
• East Central Avenue
• West Central Avenue
• Reliance Avenue
• South University Avenue
• North University Avenue
• Liberty Road
• Railroad Avenue

Please move vehicles before 4:00 PM Sunday (today) to avoid towing and delays in plowing.

🏛 Town Hall Notice:
Town Hall will be closed Monday due to the storm, with the possibility of closure Tuesday depending on conditions.

Under this declaration, the Town and its officials are authorized to take all lawful actions necessary to respond to and mitigate impacts of the storm. The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until formally lifted.

Our crews will continue monitoring conditions and responding as needed.
