Caernarvon Township, Berks County has declared a Snow Emergency beginning Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Noon through Tuesday, February 24, 2026 - Noon.
All vehicles must be removed from all township streets through the snow emergency. NO EXCEPTIONS. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and can be towed at owners expense. Please remove all vehicles from the streets starting Sunday morning to avoid any violations.
Our Public Works Director will be monitoring the various resources at his disposal to determine that actual time that they will start their operations for the storm.
We also ask residents that may have a fire hydrant near there house to clear a 3Ft space around it.
In the event of power failure in the Township we will open our township's social hall as a warning station. If you need Police, Fire or E.M.S. please call 911 for emergency. The non emergency phone number for the police is 610-655-4911.
We will continue to send out updates through the weekend.
