THIRD REMINDER – Golf Cart Permit Compliance

Description
This is a third reminder to all residents of the City of Lake Helen regarding the requirements for operating golf carts on City-owned roads and streets.
To remain in compliance:
✔️ Golf carts must display a current City of Lake Helen permit tag
✔️ Permits are $25 per golf cart and require inspection by the Police Department
✔️ Permits must be renewed annually
✔️ Per City ordinance, golf cart operators must possess a valid driver’s license
Residents who are not currently in compliance must do so no later than Friday, February 27, 2026.
The City is committed to promoting public safety while ensuring residents can continue to enjoy the convenience of operating golf carts within the community.
