Special Weather Statement issued February 15 at 8:36PM EST by NWS Melbourne FL
At 834 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms from
Clermmont to Apopka to Sanford, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Orlando, Deltona, Port Orange, Sanford, and Apopka.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized street flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
