Description
The Hatboro Police Department has received reports of scammers pretending to be law enforcement officers, including impersonating Hatboro Officers and staff. These scammers may contact you via phone, claiming to be from the Hatboro Police Department, and attempt to deceive you into divulging sensitive information or sending money.
If you receive a call from someone claiming to be a law enforcement officer or a Hatboro Police officer and have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Hatboro Police Department directly to confirm the authenticity of the call. You can reach us at 215-675-2832.
Remember, it is essential to verify the identity of the caller before providing any personal information or taking any action. Legitimate law enforcement officers will never ask for sensitive information or demand payment over the phone.
