The Forward Township Board of Supervisors would like to share information with residents regarding the upcoming 25-day Closure of the Parkway East between the Edgewood/Swissvale Exit and the Squirrel Hill Tunnel as part of the Commercial Street Bridge Replacement Project along I-376 (Parkway East), as provided by PennDOT.
If you travel in this area, please be aware that this project may impact traffic patterns, access routes, and construction activity in the coming months. The project is tentatively scheduled for July 10, 2026 through August 3, 2026. Motorists should expect heavy delays and posted detour routes.
